Show Conditional Use Permits Occupy Planning Meeting City Planners had a full evening with Conditional Use Permits taking the majority of the time. Melvin Radmall, William Bugden, Mrs. Dean Gurr, and Bob Phelps, who represented Rick Gurney were heard. Each wishes to establish businesses at their residences with the exception of Mr. Radmall who wanted a one year extension of his permit. The petitioners were made aware of the city ordinances involved. If they are allowed to go into business at the residence it can only be on a year basis. After that time they must establish elsewhere. Mr. Gurrs business fell under the Home Occupation ordinance. Recommendations were passed onto the city counal for final action. Reports were given on the Downtown Project, Roads, Parks, Public Relations, and the City Council. Dennis Rasmussen was assigned to work with the roads project. Mary West was assigned to work on Community Progress. A master plan is to be drawn for the Parks project. Our goal would be to have one central park with neighborhood parks dotting the city. Other parks are being studied. |
