Show Mrs. Sarah Hatch Died At Veyo, Utah Mrs. Lawrence West on Tuesday received word of the death of her mother Mrs. Sarah Thomas Hatch. Mrs. Hatch for several years a resident of Pleasant Grove, died at the home of a daughter Miss Veola Hatch at Veyo, Washington County, at the age of 84. She was born Sept. 20, 1886, in Paris, Idaho, to Marion and Sarah Sharp Thomas. When 18 years of age she moved to Vernal where I she srjent most of her life. She was married to Josephus Hatch on Mar. 13, 1885 and became be-came the mother of 13 children. Sometime after the death of her 35 years ago, she moved to PI. Grove with her family, and lived here much of her time since then. She was a life-long member of the L.D.S. church and was active in Relief Society work. Ten of her 13 children survive. They are Josephine Hatch, Provo; Mrs. May Eaton, Vernal; Mrs. May Eaton, Vernal, Mrs. Ethel Bush, Los Angeles; Marion Hatch and Mrs. Sara West, Pleasant Grove; James Hatch, Duchesne; Jessie Hatch, Pittsburg; Effie Sewert, San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Erma Griffin Newton, and Miss Veola Hatch, Veyo, Utah. |
