Burglary a tape recorder and some change were taken from the 'room at the high school on Nov. 8. Short Change a short change artist was at the Polar King. Burglary 2 bars of silver were taken from a home at 900 East 900 South on Nov. 9. Burglary Farmers Insur-ance was broken into and 5 drafts and a roll of stamps were taken. Theft one can of Coors beer was taken from the 7-- Store. The suspect has been contacted and case closed. Theft Approximately $50 was taken from the Polar King The suspect has been contacted and was arrested. Burglary Allred Builders was broken into and several chain saws and' some small change was taken from the store. The suspect was appre-hended near Allred's and was arrested. Burglary Ferg's Service was also broken into on Nov. 16. A tire was thrown thru the window. Some change was taken from the station and the suspect was arrested forthis case as well as the Allred Buil-ders case. Burglary Honda minibike was taken from a home at 500 South 400 East. Several juven-iles were referred for the theft and the bike was returned. Grovecrest PTA to Hold Mother and Daughter Night Grovecrest P.T.A. is having Mother - Daughter Night to be held December 12 at 7:00 p. m in the school auditorium. There will be a Holiday Fash-ion Show, Special Entertain-ment and refreshments. The P.T.A. hopes that each mother and daughter will plan to come and enjoy this special night together. The P.T.A. is still selling school mascot shirts, every morning before school, for those wishing to purchase them Lindon DUP Will Hold Social with December Meeting The December meeting and Christmas Social of the Lindon Daughters of Utah Pioneers will be held December 12 at 1 p.m. in the Lindon Ward Cul-tural Hall. An interesting program has been planned by Thelma Rem-el- e. It will include the Gem Dandies Musical Group, with Melba Crow, Sandi Johnson iand Dona Fletcher. Mae Thorn-ton with her accordian. The lesson, "That They May Be Remembered," will be pre-sented by Wanda Grames. A pot luck luncheon has been planned and each should bring their own dishes. All members and others in-terested are urged to be in attendance. Sergeant Taylor Graduates Recently CAMP SPRINGS, Md. Sergeant Michael W. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Taylor, 184 North Fourth East, Pleasant Grove, Utah, has grad-uated from the U.S. Air Force automatic switching center operations course at Andrews AFB, Md. Sergeant Taylor was trained to operate computerized com-munications equipment that utilizes magnetic tape, punch-ed data cards and paper tape. He is serving with a unit of the Air Force Communications Service at Andrews. The sergeant graduated in 1971 from Pleasant Grove High School. His wife, Pamela, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron J.. Duke, 1040 East 550 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah. |
