Hoole, noted author and inspirational lecturer lectur-er is giving a Seminar for all homemakers at the Pleasant Grove High School Auditorium Saturday, March 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no more convincing spokesman and advocate for the homemaker and her role in society than Mrs. Hoole. She sees a woman's task in the home as a creative challenge. Her extensive research into the subject of homemaking and family fa-mily living over the past ten years plus the practical experience exper-ience she has gained as the mother of eight children, has enabled her to help other women wo-men become more effective homemakers. Mrs. Hoole's book, "The Art of Homemaking" has been widely used and praised and has made the term "Let's do it according to Hoole" a household house-hold phrase in countless homes She has also written "The Art of Teaching Children" and has co-authored the book "With Sugar 'n Spice." She has written writ-ten numerous articles and special spe-cial features. Mrs. Hoole challenges chal-lenges women to create a more satisfying role for themselves in the home, and teaches them how to do it. A popular speaker, Mrs. Hoole has spoken to over 150,000 ladies from coast to coast in the United States and in Canada and Mexico. She is a special lectureer for two major ma-jor universities and has appeared appear-ed as a guest speaker at seminars sem-inars and assemblies on other campuses. Her classes at BYU Leadership Week each year are filled with hundreds of enthusiastic enthus-iastic listeners. The subjects Mrs. Hoole will speak on are "How to accomplish accom-plish twice as much in half the time," and "How to conquer con-quer Inner Space and how to do less for your children so you can do more with them." There will also be some time for questions ques-tions and answers. There will be a 15 minute break during which refreshments will be served. Arrangements for the lecture lec-ture have been made by the Elysium Club of Pleasant Grove as part of their annual service project. The proceeds will be given to the Riley Richards and Chris Varney Library Fund at the PI. Grove High School. The school is need of more funds to build back the labrary. Price for this Seminar is $1.50 for ladies and $1 for teenage teen-age daughters and students. Tickets may be purchased at Smith Drug in Pleasant Grove, or Priday's Office Supply in Am. Fork or from Elysium Club members. If you plan to purchase pur-chase tickets at the door, be there at least 15 minutes early. |
