Show News of Men In The Service Word has recently been received by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Downs that their son Ray Downs, stationed at a camp in Florida has been promoted pro-moted to staff sergeant. First Sergeant Wendell Gillman of Camp Forrest Tennessee is enjoying en-joying a furlough this week at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gillman of Orem. Corporal Wilford E. Freeman is visiting this week with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Freeman. Corporal Freeman is stationed at Camp Forrest, Tennessee. Mrs. Jewel Paul Cobbley has received word that her husband, Private Lee Cobbley has arrived at Camp Haan, near Riverside, California. Sergeant Perneal (Ned) Shoell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Shoell has been visiting here with his Tvife and his parents. Sergeant Shoell is stationed at Casper, Wyo. Private Theo. Aston left Tuesday Tues-day for Camp Forrest, Tennessee, after visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shell Aston. Technical Sergeant Ray Ellis is spending a furloug here with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Walk- J er. Sergeant Ellis came from Camp Forrest, Tennessee. Lieutenant Glen Robertson left Tuesdav morning for Camp Roberts Rob-erts California, where he reported for duty on February 25. After receiving his commision at Fort Sill. Okla. Lt. Robertson has been visitinrr with his parents Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robertson. |
