The teacher, Miss Gam-mon, teaches students about the five main elements in the body and about the right foods to eat. The students say it's a lot of fun. About a month ago some of the fifth and sixth graders were on TV. They worked hard to get ready and they did a good job. They also toured through the BYU and would like to thank KBYU for letting them be on the program. The students say the most fun thing they have been do ing is the Presidential physical fitness award. It is a lot of fun getting the award. Some students have it already. They are Sherrie Keetch, Janell Jar-vi- s, from last year, and Cory Jensen, Dnae Spencer, Julie Green, Michael Keetch, Alison Welch, Wendy Turner, Kreg Gillman, Cameron Tolman and Daryl Spencer. The teachers and school are proud of these students. Next week the fifth and sixth grades are going to see "Fid-- ' ler on the Roof at the Orem High School. They are also go-ing to cut records for their par-ents Christmas gift. Outlived Them "Yes," said the old man. "I'll be ninety-si- x tomorrow, and I haven't an enemy in the world." "A beautiful thought," answered the new vicar. "Yes. sir." went on the old man. I've outlived them all." Dad Knows Son: "What is executive ability, Father?" Father:"Executive ability, my son, is the art of getting credit for all the hard work somebody else does." Central School Has Halloween Carnival Oct. 31 On Wednesdy evening, Oct. 31, 1973, Central Elementary School PTA held their annual Halloween Carnival. Supper was served to the families of the students, while fun and games were going on through-out the school. The room mothers and teach-ers joined together and created a large and small spook alley, fish ponds, large and small games, candy sales, a white ele-phant sale, pumpkin decorat-ing contest, a draw the mon-ster the contest and and a very successful cake walk. Without the cooperation of these teach-ers and mothers we couldn't hold this carnival. The PTA thanks them all for their time, help and cooperation. The PTA would also like to thank all the parents who do-nated cakes, pies, cookies, and popcorn balls for the carnival. With the help from these par-ents, the PTA feels the carni-val was a success.
