Show Grants Available This Year from Eldred Foundation Eldred Sunset Manor Foundation, Foun-dation, Inc., a foundation created creat-ed by Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Eldred, Eld-red, elected board members and held their annual board meeting on Feb. 8, and the following officers were elected Seth P. Billings, president, Provo; Verl G. Dixon, vice president, Provo; Kay Jacobs, secretary and treasurer, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Board members are John W. Gillman, and Milton G. Jameson Jam-eson of Orem; G. Marion Hinckley, Dallas H. Young, Jr., S. Rex Lewis, F. V. Nichols, and W. N. BUI Whitaker, Provo; Pro-vo; Dave Greenwood, American Ameri-can Fork; J. Grant Nielson, Springville; Sterling G. Jones, Spanish Fork and McKay Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Payson. Oscar W. Walch, Provo, is recording secretary sec-retary for the board. Foundation grants for the 1971 year totaled $19,264, according ac-cording to Mr. Billings, going to various organizations in Utah County. The board approved the expenditure ex-penditure of approximately $15,000 for 1972. These grants will be awarded after applications applica-tions are received and judged as to the worthiness of the project pro-ject involved. A special form will be furnished furn-ished to make written applications applica-tions for projects. Write to Eldred Eld-red Sunset Manor Foundation, P.O. Box 111, Provo, Utah and this form will be mailed out. No consideration will be given projects unless this form is used us-ed by the applicants. Deadline for applying for grants is Saturday, March 10, 1972, and applications postmarked post-marked by midnight oif that day will be given consideration. |
