Show Square Dancers Planning for '73 Nafr'l Convention The National Square Dance convention will be held in the Salt Palace" in June, 1973. This is a great honor for Utah, and will bring approximately 20,000 square and round dancers into Salt Lake City. According to reports, this will be the biggest convention ever to be held in Utah. You can be part of it, as square dancing is fun, easy to learn, and the "in" thing to do, according ac-cording to Earl A. Beck. Earl A. Beck has had approximately approx-imately 23 years experience calling and teaching dances in Provo and Utah County, and for the past years has taught square dancing at Brigham Young University. Mr. Beck will conduct classes at West-more West-more School, 1150 South Main in Orem, and will start them this Friday, Oct. 1. New or beginning dancers will start at 7:30 and advanced or club level lev-el at 9 p.m. Cost is nominal. ' Mr. Beck urges everyone to ' put a little fun and relaxation t into their lives, and plan to meet your friends Friday night at the Westmore School. |
