Bayly Manufacturing Co. kicked off their part of the United Un-ited Fund drive last Wednesday. Wednes-day. All of the agencies financed by the United Fund are nontax non-tax supported, non-profit organizations organ-izations and must operate in Utah County. The eighth annual campaign for the United Fund of Utah County got underway this week and all of the communities in the county have organized for a successful drive. . . Merrill N. Warnick has been selected to be chairman for the Pleasant Grove area. Mr. War-nick's War-nick's appointment was announced an-nounced by William E. Petersen, Peter-sen, vice president of the County Coun-ty Fund. More than 1,500 people in the county will be working to raise necessary funds for 18 agencies who give services in the area of youth guidance, health, recreation rec-reation for the handicapped, etc. Those agencies are: Alpine House, (halfway house for mental illness), American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Diabetes Dia-betes Assoc., Cytic Fibrosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, Salvation Army. Ar-my. USO (United Servicemen's organization), Blind Associates, Blind Educational Lions, Utah Heart Assoc., Community Service Ser-vice Concert, Recreation for Handicapped, Diabetes Assoc., Arthrities Foundation, and the Mental Health Association.
