Local Lumber Industries Inc. Makes Initial Shipment The first carload shipment of processed products from the local plant of Lumber Industries, Indus-tries, Inc, was finished loading last Tuesday morning. According to George Bidiman, Bidi-man, plant manager, the ship-man ship-man consisted of sized parts for window frames and its destination des-tination is Window Industries, Little Valley, New York. The stock used in the Pleas ant Grove operations comes from Oregon, Washington, California, Cal-ifornia, Montana, and Idaho, Mr. Bediman said. Lumber Industries, Inc., currently cur-rently has six employees. However, How-ever, when a shipment of additional ad-ditional processing machinery arrives about November 1, the payroll will be increased to 15 employees, he noted. Lumber Industries is oper ating in a new building constructed constru-cted on the old Pleasant Grove Canning property, across the Union Pacific tracks on West 200 South. The building and the enw industry were secured through the efforts of the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Industrial Development De-velopment Corporation.
