Royalty was selected last Thursday evening at Lindon Church. Lisidbii Fair to fee Med Tliis Sataic2aif pftB 7 Ray Lynn Moosman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moosman, and Kristin Shelline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Shelline, were chosen as King and Queen of Lindon' s "Biggest Little Fair," last Thursday evening. Chosen as Sir Lindon was Brad Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Ellis, and Jo Lynn Frampton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Frampton, was chosen as Lady Lindon. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Smith served as chairmen for the sel ection of the royalty and each received a crown, with the girls being given a bouquet of red roses. The boys each received re-ceived a red rose boutonniere. These children are age 5 to 6, and will ride floats leading the parade, and will reign as royalty at the Lindon Fair, to be held this Saturday, Sept. 7. All those who want to enter an article at the fair to be judged should have it at the city park building between 9 and 12 a.m., Friday, Sept. 6. There are several classifica- tions of articles that can be entered. These include needlework, needle-work, sewn articles, textile painting, and all kinds of hobbies. hob-bies. There will also be flowers and vegetables. They will be on display until 5 o'clock Saturday Sat-urday evening. Flowers and Vegetables A special invitation has been given by Oren and Vera Harding, Hard-ing, chairmen of the Flower and Vegetable Show at the Fair for all their neighbors and friends to enter their prettiest flowers and best grown fruits and vegetables, and also their own home canned goods. These items can be brought in before 10 a.m. the day of the fair, and judging will take place at 10 a.m. No pop bottles, fruit jars, cans or milk cartons will be accepted as containers. Fruits and vegetables will be displayed on paper plates in groups of 3 large or 5 small. All entries must have an entry en-try card filled out. These can be obtained at the show. Juniors and professionals will be judged separately and the decision of the judges will be final. For further information, informa-tion, call 785-3781. Outline of Activities Chuck wagon breakfast will start the day, 6 to 9 a.m. and the Free championship horse show will begin at 8 a.m. and continue all day. Four games of Little League Football will be played, starting start-ing at noon, and continuing until un-til completion. The Jr. Riding Club show will be held in the evening. All day there will be games, concessions, a zoo, milking contests, con-tests, pie eating contests, and races.
