Show RENT EXECUTIVE REPORTS APARTMENT HOUSE INCOME net operating income of apartment house owners in 39 war production centers during 1943 increased 34 per cent as compared with 1939 glen D reese OPA state rent executive announced during the week landlords owning small tures had a 36 per cent net operating income increase these figures mr reese said released by the office of price administration at washington D C also indicated that one billion dollars had been saved home renters in 1943 by rent control in utah the survey showed that owners of large apartment houses had been bene fitted by an increase in the net operating income of per cent during 1943 as compared with 1939 said mr reese and owners of small structures by an increase of per cent for the same period mr reese explained that the survey was made by trained auditors sent out from washington D C the comparative studies were based on actual operating records of rental income and expenses made available to the OPA through the cooperation of local real estate boards property management organizations and individual property owners in accordance with standard practice for all surveys expenditures clearly chargeable as capital improvements are excluded |
