Show JUDGING TEAM LEAVES FOR FOB KANSAS CITY SHOW the following boys carl bayles robert rowley and worth orton in company with ray D garner gamer vocational agricultural instructor at the parowan carowan high school left friday morning for kansas city missouri to compete in the national livestock judging contest being held there in connection with the national future farmers of america convention and the american roy ai livestock show the will go by automobile as far as salt lake city and from there they will travel by train to kansas city and return these boys will compete in the livestock judging contest against the winning teams from the other states porto rico rica and hawaii the party will arrive in kansas city sunday morning a bout 10 and will return home the end of next week the contest in kansas city is the climax in activities for vocational agricultural students of the nation naion each year the vocational agricultural schools of the various states hold state contests to determine the winners in april of this year the utah state judging contests were held in logan jogan the boys named above represented our local F F A chapter and school in the livestock judging contest there were tony lorty niru teams competing boys the local group was the high team of the contest and thus earned the right and honor to represent utah in the national contest at kansas city |
