TRAPPER FINDS NEW CAUSE OF HEARTBURN ever have heart burn probably so but not from the same cause which gave it to carlyle kike i dalton on wednesday with the aid of his dog kike had followed the track of a big cougar through the mountains in the snow most of the oay he had shot and wounded it and then it had gone up a big tree he was armed only with a six shooter and he sat down under the tree to rest before trying to blast the big cat out at he pulled at the stub of a cigarette the animal suddenly cami down the tree lighting within a few feet of him startled he gulp ed and swallowed the cigarette that gave him heart burn for hou hous hours s he said the cougar measured more than nine feet feel when he killed it and is the largest of four he has killed in the last few i weeks
