Show scouts have wonderful outing at boulder dam parowan represented Represent ea by ninety one largest number from any community radowan parowan boy scouts and scout workers to t the e number ot of ninety ono one or ninety two returned late saturday night and sunday from a trip to the boulder dam to a man they are enthusiastic about the ahe wonderful trip they had and the tine fine treatment they were given by the scouts at boulder city slid and the officials in charge of construction ot of the gigantic darn dam i the outing was enjoyed by scouts from several stakes of of southern utah and nevada but parowan Pa ra rowan had the ills distinction ot of being there in larger numbers t than ha ta any ah mthm r com corn in unity the group from here or at least the scouts from here hail had planned on camping out tor for the two or three nights they were an ibay ay but when they arrived at city the scouts there had comfortable barracks provided with coti cot and blan blankets ets the group was afforded every courtesy in seeing the dam and the chief engineer talked to them in as grit ably giving them an opportunity to ask questions ors at a scout roder rodeo boys won more than their share of the honors though they were woefully outclassed in some ofine finer things of scouting according to one of the scout masters special credit for the success of the trip Is due to those men who helped to organize it and who went along among those who went were H L adams james C robinson george A lowe jr peter 11 gurr gorr armont gurr glenn E D snow S 3 whitney philip Be bairon lipon john W gurr curr jolin john page gra Gratt iville warren A 13 matheson Mathe soi harvey adan ada m norman adams and possibly one or ivio others whom our informants may have overlooked looked mrs 11 L dams clams mrs james C robinson the batters lat daughter alice mrs I 1 george A lowe jr and two or three of the boys under scout ag aga were vere also included in the party |
