FISHER Pioneer lumber yard operator Thomas Lyon Fisher 94 died Saturday Oct 24 at his home West South HE WAS owner of the Bountiful Bountiful Bountiful Boun Boun- Lumber and Supply Company Company Company Com Com- pany Davis county's oldest retail store incorporated in 1892 which he had purchased in 1925 He worked in the lumber company until he was 84 84 when he retired Mr Fisher managed a lumber lumber lum lum- ber yard in Rhyolite Nev from 1902 until 1906 when the people moved away and the city became a ghost town HE liE ALSO operated lumberyards lumberyards lumberyards lumber lumber- yards in Heber City Logan and Richfield In 1910 his yard in Richfield burned down At this time he went to work for Telluride Light and Power Company where he worked for nine years He was also a contractor building many homes throughout Utah in inthe inthe inthe the early part of the century A high rugh priest in the Bountiful Bountiful Bountiful Boun Boun- First Ward He fulfilled fulfilled fulfilled ful ful- ful- ful filled an mission to England England England Eng Eng- land and also served as as counselor counselor counselor coun coun- and president of the HA and president of the seventies quorum HE liE WAS a justice of the peace when a young man and anda a notary public Mr Fisher was a member of the Emeritus Emeritus Emeritus Emer Emer- itus Club of the University of Utah He studied at Utah State and attended the Business College r Mr Fisher was born on Nov 13 1875 in Bountiful the son of John and Josephine R. R Lyon Fisher He married Josephine Ekman on Dec 25 1901 in Salt Lake City Later their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple She died on Sept 3 1968 after 66 and one- one half years of married life HE IS survived by two sons and three daughters Dr Don L.
