ST OLAFS OLAF'S RECEIVES CIVIC CLUB CHARTER The Young Americans American's Civic Chic club of St. St Olafs Olaf's school recently received its official charter from the Commission on American Citizenship i in Washington Washington Wash Wash- ington D. D C. C The charter form formally all recognized affiliation of the local unit with the national organization at The Catholic University of America Officers of the club pictured above with Sister Carlene moderator arc are Richard Hautzinger secretary Doug Lusienski president Karen Ziegler vice president and Nancy McGregor sergeant at The club has had many activities all year such as a convention and election in September discussions and debates of the election outcome and in February the club sponsored a Brotherhood poster and essay contest for the whole school One Unc ol of the main mam purposes of the club is to practice the American citizens citizen's duty and right to express his opinion regarding his government and the members of the club have written many letters to the Congressmen expressing expressing expressing ex ex- pressing their opinions on various vital and timely topics |
