Show Obituaries Lela Lindsay Lela Beverly "Jill" Lindsay died Oct. 5 in a Salt Lake City hospital. She was 57. She was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Park City to Charles L. and Mary Roach Himes. She married John Allen "Jack" Lindsay June 26, 1948, in Park City. The marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She moved to Salt Lake City in 1980, said Park City historian Bea Kummer. She was an active member of the LDS church and served as a primary teacher and a Relief Society visiting teacher. She is survived by her husband, Salt Lake; children, James Allen Lindsay (Salt Lake), Susan Kay Evans (Park City), William David Lindsay (San Diego, Calif.) and Richard Mark Lindsay (West Jordan); eight grandchildren; grand-children; mother, Salt Lake; and brothers and sisters, Mrs. Steven (Dorothy) Mayne (Grants, N.M.), Charles "Gene" Himes (Enumclw, Wash.), Mrs. Carl "Margie" Smith (St. George), Leland "Jack" Himes and Hal Ivan Himes (Redlands, Calif.).
