Thank you, Sam Coleman fire marshall Park City Fire Service District Fire Prevention Week Editor: The Fire District is happy to announce that National Fire Prevention Preven-tion Week is being observed this year from Sunday, Oct. 6 to Saturday, Oct. 12. Locally, the Fire Department conducts fire prevention and safety programs all year to help citizens protect themselves from fire. This concern for public fire safety is highlighted during Fire Prevention Week. To focus attention on this observance, the Fire Prevention Division of the district is offering home fire inspections during the month of October. This would be a brief 15-to-20-minute inspection to detect any obvious fire hazards with suggestions on how to alleviate and or avoid fire hazards in your home.
