Wilderness help wanted Part-time and full-time volunteers are needed from July 1 to Labor Day to work as wilderness guards in the High Uintas Wilderness and Lakes Backcountry Area in northern Utah. The Forest Service will provide housing, subsistence pay, a uniform allowance and some backpacking equipment. Volunteers w(rk a regular schedule and are expected to perform as regular Forest Service employees. Appointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. Examinations are performed by a nurse practitioner. Services include physical exams, Pap tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs are reasonable. No one will be denied use of the clinic; all services are confidential. All trash to be collected should be placed off the edge of the roadway where weekly trash is placed for pickup. Those who use dumpsters on a weekly basis may deposit debris at dumpster locations. Collection will begin at 8 a.m. 59 Fat-loss motivation lecture Bodi Fit at the Park Meadows Racquet Club will offer its last low-fat motivation class on May 7 from 7 to 8 p.m. The guest will be Kathy Burns of the Holy Cross Wellness Center. She will conduct a body composition test to determine the amount of body fat and lean muscle tissue and present a lectureslide show.
