Show Scouts Receive Gift Mrs. Carolyn Harris of Park City and Palm Springs, Calif, presented Utah Girl Scout Council with a special birthday gift in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. The beautifully framed "Saca-jawea "Saca-jawea at the Big Water" is 38 in a limited edition. reproduction of the original I painting by John Clymer, a preeminent figure in cont- empory Western Art. President Nancy L. Giles accepted the fine work of art from Mrs. Harris's Girl Scout family, daughters Mrs. Suzanne H. Rytting, Salt Lake City, Francine Valline, Park City, and granddaughter granddaught-er Robyn Auerbach, Park City. Mrs. Harris started the first Girl Scout Mariner unit in Salt Lake City in the 1940's. |
