Show -Optometr ist of the year The Utah Optometric Association during its recent convention held in Park City, Utah, selected Dr. Frank L. Salimeno as the recipient of the 1981-1982 Optometrist of the Year Award. Dr. Salimeno became a. practicing optometrist in the State of Utah in January 1972. He graduated from Weber State College in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, afterwhich he attended atten-ded the Pacific University School of Optometry where he graduated in 1969 with an Optometric Doctor's Degree. Dr. Salimeno was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1971. He has served as Chief of the Eye Clinic for the U.S. Army Hospital at, Dugway Proving Ground from 1970-1972 1970-1972 while serving as ar officer with the U.S. Army. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, Dr. Salimeno set up his professional practice in Ogden, Utah, and is presently located at the Burch Creek Professional Plaza. Dr. Salimeno has served in air elected positions for the Utah Optometric Association including that of president in 1977. The Utah Optometric Association is very pleased to honor this outstanding optometrist who has provided pro-vided dedicated service to the visual health care of the Utah public. ll |
