The Redevelopment Agency (RDA) has been acquiring Swede Alley property for several years. Much vof the property will be used for expanded parking, upgraded landscaping and park sites. Some of the property however how-ever lends itself to a commerical use and will be sold for that purpose . When the RDA sells the property it goes back on the tax rolls and generates revenue for the city and other taxing entities.
