Show Ballet West Extends Run of Popular 'Swan Lake' Ballet West has extended its Feb. 9 to 14 run of "Swan Lake" for an additional week. The Company premiered pre-miered its full-length production pro-duction of "Swan Lake" last year, and included it in the 1982-83 season due to overwhelming demand. "Swan Lake" performances are now scheduled for Feb. 9-12 and Feb, 14-19 each evening at 8 p.m., with Friday and Saturday matinees mat-inees at 2 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South. The Friday matinees were added this year to attract school groups, according to company manager Jane Andrew. Group tickets are available for the performances at 15-20 percent discount. A group is defined as 20 or more tickets purchased for the same performance in the same price area of the theatre. To make group reservations, contact Jyl Shuler, 533-3333. Gift certificates are available avail-able for the performances and may be purchased at the Ballet West box office in the lobby of the Capitol Theatre. The certificates may be redeemed at the box office on Jan. 10 when "Swan Lake" tickets go on sale. Tickets are $6-$14 for matinees and $8-$18 for evening performances. The group price is $5-$l 1 .50 for matinees and $6,50-515 for evening performances. |
