Show Warm Weather Causes Spring Water Problems Sunday night's rain coupled with seasonally mild temperatures tempe-ratures has created water problems and potential flooding hazards from Park City north through the Snyderville Basin. Silver Creek as it flows through Park City has remained within its banks but East Canyon Creek and its tributaries in the Snyderville Snyder-ville Basin have overflowed in places flooding basements and creating generally messy conditions. subsequent run-off flooded through the district's Kimball Kim-ball Jet. plant making the adequate treatment of sewage sew-age impossible. Decker admitted ad-mitted much of the water flowing out of the plant Monday was not property treated but said he doubted it posed any health hazard because the sewage was so diluted with ground water. He concluded the water washed all their friendly bacteria that eats bad bacteria bacter-ia away which means they will have to start all over raising "bugs". The recent warm temperatures temperat-ures have mainly caused sno-melt in the lower elevations elevat-ions and the real threat of flooding will come if temperatures temper-atures remain warm for a long period and the huge ' snow-pack . . at higher , elevations elevat-ions begins to rapidly melt.
