Show NOTICE The Board of Adjustments has been asked to meet to consider a Variance of a height limitation in the Historic Residential: District (HR-1 ) of the Park City Land Management Manage-ment Code. 1 Jack Dozier The applicant owns Lots 27, 2fv 25. 24. -23 and 22 on Norfolk Avenue. The applicant contends that in order to -comply with the present interpretation of the height for the proposed project would require extensive lowering of the buildings into hillside, depriving the new units of privileges possessed by ad ja-cem ja-cem properties such as adequate ade-quate light, ventilation and views. He also contends that excessive expense would be required to construct retaining walls, as well as excessive., excavation to depress build-inus build-inus into hillside. Nearly all natural vegetation would have to be removed during this excavating stage. The aesthetic image of the existing street would be dest roved by enforcing this interpreted height restriction as newlv constructed units would only be seen as roof tops from Norfolk Avenue. The Board of Adjustments has. therefore, been asked to consider the variance request. The request comes under the authority of the Board as described in 10-9-12 and 10-9-14 of the Utah Code Annotated 1953. and also as described in Chapter XIII "of the Park City Land Manage-, men l Code. s The request will be considered consid-ered bv the Board of Adjustments Adjust-ments on Tuesdav.
