New applicants for the Summit Sum-mit County Rodeo Queen contest are still arriving. Julie Stephens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. La Veil Stephens of Henefer has been riding for eleven years. She was a cheerleader cheer-leader at North Summit; she likes to sew; She enjoys riding on the range when they go to gather cattle; member of the Drill Team at North Summit and was first attendant to the Homecoming Queen. Lew Jean Potter is the daughter daugh-ter of Lew Potter of Upton. She has been riding for eight years. She works on the farm-will farm-will be a junior in high school next year; nominated to the drill team; likes horseback riding, rid-ing, hiking and swimming. She enjoys riding all five horses on her father's farm. Dixie Stevens is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl McQueen of Hoytsville. She has been riding rid-ing twelve years. She loves all outdoor sports. She has been a member of the Star Junior Posse for seven years. Member of the N.S, Drill team and active in other school functions. Was 2nd attendant to the Homecoming Homecom-ing queen. Belongs to the Rodeo Club. |
