Property under discussion was 3.2 acres on Lowell Avenue between 9th and 10th streets. The request for re-zoning to Zone C R (Commercial - Recreational) Rec-reational) was based on need of development being planned by Park City Development Corporation, Cor-poration, which will build 31 condominium units on this acreage. acre-age. Architects Kurt Brandle and Stanley Hallett in association with Lloyd Piatt were all at the meeting and explained the layout of Tramway the name of said development. Questions put forth by concerned con-cerned spectators at the meeting meet-ing indicated a definite disapproval dis-approval of stores, shops or other commercial enterprises being built on this property. Mr. Gardner and Mr. Beraolfo Bera-olfo both assured the gathering that by law they would not be allowed to build such businesses but need the C R rating because be-cause condominiums such as they anticipate building are most normally used as rental property where the CR rating is mandatory. Bud Gasparac acted as chairman chair-man and Council members Clements Hansen and Bob Burns were in attendance. A quorum was not present to take action. |
