Doni is originally from Aspen. She had the highest points for Intermediate girls so next year she will be racing Expert Girls. P.C.HJS. is proud of Doni for representing P.C.H.S.SO well. Dori Pratt. -PCHS- Music Clinic On Monday, April 15, the Park City High School Band went to Utah State University Univer-sity to attend the Utah State University Music Clinic, in which those attending were taught different techniques on different types of musical instrucments. Debra Mac-Naughtan. Mac-Naughtan. -PCHS- Goes on Tour Mark Lindsay, a freshman fresh-man at Park High, is going to St. George April 24 to go on a tour with the Dixie College Band. He will also play with the Dixie Band for Dixie Days. He will be gone a full week. Delsa Winn and Hal Smith arranged the trip for him. The Dixie Band will be in Park City Friday, May 3 as part of the tour. The Dixie Band will play on May 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the High School. Spring Arrives Maria Sweeten has just returned re-turned from a week's vacation vaca-tion in St. George, where she reports 'Spring has Sprung.' (Well, at least it has somewhere in Utah.) Eighty degree weather; green grass; blooming lilacs; and leaves on the trees characterized her days. The reason for. her visit was to attend a rodeo, the Dixie Regionals.She took her horse along to prepare for the high school rodeos, which start in a week. She and her parents also visited the campus cam-pus of Dixie College which she plans to attend after graduation next year. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. Judy Strand. -PCHS- Elegant Affair The Junior Prom for 1974 will be an elegant affair. The theme of the Junior Prom is 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", by Elton John. Mr. and Mrs. HughSweet-en HughSweet-en have worked very hard as the directors of the Promenade. Prom-enade. The band will be Dick Long and his orchestra from Orem, Utah. The decorations consist of a gazebo, a yellow brick road and a colorful rainbow background. The mural is being designed by Brent Bird the art teacher at Park High. It is to be held April 26 at the Park City HighSchool. The Prom will begin at 8:00 p.m. and the Promenade will begin at 9:30 p.m. The admission is $2. 50per person and $5.00 a couple. Cory Flinders. -PCHS- Congratulations Doni Waldman, who is in the seventh grade at Park City High School, is 13 years old and races in the Intermediate Inter-mediate class for girls, for the Park City Ski and Sports Club. This is her second year racing at Park City, but in all she has raced four years.
