Show and Brian of Irvin, Calif., spent a three day week-end in Park City to enjoy the Labor Day celebration. They visited with the Louis Williams and the Dean Boyles and the Brierleys. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hannay of Parley's Park hosted a "Cousins party" on August 14. It is an annual affair and all the cousins in the Arnt Engh family get together and renew re-new the past year's happenings. Forty people attended and we had a marvelous time! We went on a hay-ride at Mountain Meadow Mead-ow Ranch and enjoyed a delicious de-licious big dinner afterwards. Then for the hearty ones we had a rousing good volleyball game and a cozy fair-circle for the not-so-hearty. Cousins came from near and far. Jer-ran Jer-ran and Marilyn Flinders came from Colorado, the Bill Petersons Peter-sons from Arizona and the John Storeheims from California. A wonderful time was had by all truly a cousins party to r e m e m be r. Nola Nelson, Pleasant Grove. FALL BONUS Right on schedule is the promise of the riot of autumn colors that adorn our surrounding surround-ing mountains and hills. Nights are cool, days are rich with sweet scented mountain air. Now is the time to look up and around, enjoy the final display that only Mother Nature can create to prepare us for the blanket of white and frosty chills. The oohs and ahes, tripods, trip-ods, hikers-the fact that we're here is ours to enjoy in our Park City so fair. PJ3. I have a mouse in my pocket. |
