Bison Is Born at Mountain Meadow Ranch A rare birth a real live full-blooded American Bison-occurred Bison-occurred at Mountain Meadow Ranch on October 13. Because it was Friday the 13th the baby was immediately named 'Miss Lucky" even though her parents have "western" "west-ern" names. The mother is Annie Oakley, weighing 1200 pounds; the co-fathers are Butch Cassidy, 1600 pounds, and the Sundance Kid, 1400 pounds.
