In residential areas pick-up is once a week and when weekenders week-enders put garbage out late Sunday or early Monday it MUST be in containers that are DOG-PROOF DOG-PROOF and WEATHER-PROOF otherwise it is strewn all over the neighborhood long before pick-up day. Plastic bags should be the HEAVY ones with securefas-teners; securefas-teners; garbage cans MUST have tops that will not come off if can is turned over. Even card board boxes and paper products with no dog-appeal dog-appeal should be in weatherproof weather-proof containers because one hard rain can disintegrate this type of refuse and cause a wet soggy mess. |
