Show john be firth dies at the home of his daughter mrs george gayken this city on march ath mr john B firth aged 78 one of the pioneers of 0 summit county was called to his final rest following an heart attack deceased was a native or of england being born at wakefield on october 17 1855 he emigrated to utah in 1861 1801 accompanied compa nied by his father brothers and grandmother the family tor for many years made their home in woodland this county where deceased was always an active L D S member and church worker lie he was held in high esteem by all who knew him because of his high character and dependability for a time he be made his home in ogden with one of his children he came to park city last november making his home for the time being with his bis daughter mrs gayken he Is survived by one brother joseph lorengo firth of idaho and one sister emily firth of ogden seven children ethel bisel of woodland utah mary anderson ot of wichita kansas annie gayken of park city herbert of duchesne joseph B of ogden of rock springs wyoming and ralph of idaho eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren the remains were taken to woodland where e funeral services were held last sunday at the L D S chapel and were largely attended by relatives and friends of the deceased |
