| Show GROCERS MEL and considered the otest ions of short weights a for some time grocers ot the city have been complaining about the shortage in weight in such produce as butter cheese canned goods etc and especially about the short weight butter brought in bythe dairymen and farmers A meeting of the grocers association was held last evening and a number ot matters were discussed no definite line of action was decided upon president E A olaen of the grocers association stated to a of this paper today at the meeting to be held next week a method ot procedure to correct this short weight evil will be decided upon in the meantime the grocers throughout the city will look over the situation with a view to getting facts to help in the adjusting of this matter the local association will also make an effort to have the bill changed that is now before the legislature to have 60 per cent of a mans wages exempt instead of CO |
