| Show whereas resolution a certain notly of intention to build sides ot street from adams avenue to monroe avenue and levy a special tax to defray the cost of same has been ordered published bythe by the city council and whereas a certain notice of intension to build sidewalks on wash ington avenue from street to street and levy a special tax to defray tho cost of same has been ordered published by the city council and whereas a certain notice of intention to build sidewalks on street from wall avenue to monroe avenue and to levy a special tax to defray the cost of the same has been ordered published by the city coun cil and whereas it will not be necessary or desirable to build walks over all of the said districts there being some good walks some are being built and some arc not in such condition as to need rebuilding but should be classed as needing extraordinary repairs now therefore be it resolved that only such walks shall be built on said streets as shall be estimated to cost more than 50 per cent of the cost of new walks to put them in good condition further that all persons having walks abutting on their property on said streets that shall be estimated to cost less than 60 per cent ot the cost of new walks 10 put them in good condition shall be given a receipt in lull in lieu ol 01 tho payment of the tax levied on their property estimates on the cost of to be made as soon as tax as levied adopted by the city council of Os den city utah the day of april 1904 W J CRITCHLOW SEAL city recorder |
