| Show whereas a certain natco of intention to build sidewalks on both sides of street from adams avenue to avenue and levy a special tax to defray the cost of same baa been ordered published by tho city council and whereas a certain notice of intention to build sidewalks on washington avenue from street to street and levy a special tax to defray the cost of same has been ordered published by the city council and whereas a certain notice of intention to build sidewalks on street from wall avenue to monroe avenue and to levy a special tax to defray the cost of the same has been ordered published by the city council and whereas it will not be necessary or desirable to build walks over all of the said districts there being some good walks some are being built and some arc not in such condition as to need rebuilding but should be classed as needing extraordinary repairs now therefore be it resolved that only such walks shall be built on said streets as shall be estimated to cost more than 60 per cent of the cost of new walks to put them in good condition further that all persona having walks abutting on their property on said streets that shall be estimated to cost less than SO per cent ot tho cost of new walks 0 o put them in good condition shall be given a receipt in full in lieu of the payment of the tax levied on their property estimates on the cost of repairs to be made as soon as tax is levied adopted by the city council of ogden city utah the day of april 1904 W J CRITCHLOW SEAL city recorder |
