Dry Goods department returned to camp Sunday evening after spend-ing three weeks with his parents in St. Louis. Mr. and Mrs. Howard McColeman left last week for an extended trip to the Pacific Coast via Portland. are spending the week with relatives in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Collins of San Raphael, Calif., are visiting with Mrs. Al Higby of the Eckman apartments. Mrs. Jesse Nix returned home on Tuesday after spending the past month in Middle Canyon. Mrs. James A. Stump-an- children of Salt Lake City are the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mit-chell of the Elmerton. Mrs. L. Brady, Mrs. George Nix and Mrs. Georg H. Nix spent Mon-day with relatives at Union. Mrs. D. G. Latimer of the Chand-ler apartments, who has been spend-ing the past three weeks with her parents in Logan spent the week end in Bingham Canyon returning to the northern- - metropolis Wednesday af-ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Howell Davis spent the fore part of the week visiting with relatives at Scofield, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hales returned Saturday from a two weeks' trip to Yellowstone. "Smokey" Thomas, the popular Mah Jongg artist of Berger's return-ed to camp Sunday morning after spending a week with friends and rel-atives in Murray. Mrs. McColeman expects to remain in Los Angeles over the summer months where she will take an ad-vanced course in Beauty Culture be-fore returning to Bingham Canyon. Mrs. Roy Madison and daughter, of Winhemuca, Nevada, arrived in camp Tuesday to spend a week with her sister, Mrs. J. J. Doyle. Mr. and Mrs. Steidel and daughters, Jane and Ruth of Los Angeles, Cali-fornia, arrived in camp Tuesday to spend a short time with Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kemp, Mr. and Mrs. Will Myers, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Myers of Midvale left Thurs-day to spend the week end at Fish Lake. Miss Florence Mayne left Friday for Los Angeles where she will re-main for the next two weeks. The annual Masonic picnic which was held at Saratoga last Sunday was attended by more than sixty Bingham Canyon members and their families. Mrs. Mark Clays of Salt Lake City is the week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Will Jones of Main street. Mrs. H. B. Aven and Mrs. Curry Leiser spent Tuesday of this wek with friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ransom of Apex returned to camp after spending sev-eral weeks visiting with their parents in Pittsburg, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Osborne of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Palmer and two daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Marriott, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Toe Marriott. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Masters and family spent Sunday at Saltair. Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. McCarty made a business trip to Salt Lake City Saturday of last week. The Misses Agnes and Grace James spent Wednesday of this week ir. Salt Lake City visiting with friends. Mrs. Hebe Nichols and son, Jack, Mrs. Harry Steele and Miss Alice Nichols returned Saturday evening of last week after spending five weeks with friends and relatives in Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. George C. Earl and family left Thursday of this week for a two weeks' trip to Zion Canyon and other Southern Utah points. ' Major Bruce Leiser and wife left for their home in Boise, after spend-ing the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Currey Leiser of Copperfield. Mrs. Roy Shilling and Mrs. Arthur Macke spent Saturday of last week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Looney and fam-ily and Mr. and Mrs. George Stread-bec- k and family spent the week end at Geneva. Mrs. Angus Christensen returned Tuesday of this week after spending a week with her mother in American Fork. Mrs. Frank Looney and children and Mrs. Pat O'Malley returned Mon-day after spending the past fortnight with friends in Park City. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Tripp spent Mon-day of this week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. R. F. Johnson of Los Angeles spent Wednesday of this week at the home of Mrs. J. H. Carter. Miss Frances Clausen of Salt Lake City is visiting with her aunt, Mrs. G. B. Covey. Mrs. Wightman returned to her home in Salt Lake City Sunday, after spending the week end with her sis-ter, Mrs. Arthur M. Thomas. Mrs. W. J. Grant left Wednesday for Springville where she will spend the week end visiting with her son, Mr. Joe Grant. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Barkle and My-ron Myers spent Wednesday even-ing of this week with friends at Amer-ican Fork. Hansen of the Edwards apartments left Sunday for a two weeks' trip through' the Yel-lowstone. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Larrick left the fore part of the week for a trip to Yellowstone park. Mrs. Sam Jenkins returned Tuesday of this week after spending the past month in Preston, Idaho. She was accompanied home by her sister, Mrs. Merle Roper, who remains here dur-ing the balance of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Higgs and children of the Edwards apartments left overland Thursday morning for a two weeks' trip through the north-west. Miss Tueller, who has been in Bingham Canyon for the past year is a Paris, Idaho, girl. Mr. Gaythwaite is a graduate of the Bingham High School, and is one of the popular members of the younger set of Bing-ham Canyon. LEGION AUXILIARY TO CHOOSE CANDIDATES The American Legion Auxiliary of Bingham Canyon will meet with Mrs. Dave Lyons of the Eckman Apart-ments Friday (today) night for the purpose cf electing delegates for the fourth annual convention which will be held in Brigham City on Aug. 6, 7 and 8.
