Show FREITAG CLUB ORGANIZED. At a meeting of the S. S club at tho home of Mis Kershaw Monday afternoon, that organization was reorganized re-organized and re-chrlstened The club in the future will be known as the Freltag club, and starts with a new-set new-set of officers, but with practically the full membership of the S. S. club. Former President Mrs. Carl Allison was released from duty with an expression ex-pression of thanks, and Mrs. Ike Flinders Flin-ders was Installed in her stoad. Mrs. j Johnson was elected secretary' ard treasurer and Mrs. Joe llorrocks chosen chos-en publicity agent. The members of the club as reorganized reorgan-ized are: Mrs. Carl Allison. Mrs. Joe Hor 1 rocks, Mrs. Liallantyne, Mrs. H.ishnell, Mrs. Caino. Mrs. Camp. Mrs Ebeling. Mrs. Flinders. Mrs. Harlen. Mrs. S. Johnson, Mr R. Johnson, Mrs Kershaw. Ker-shaw. Mrs. Will Williams, Mrs. Tay-lor. Tay-lor. After the regular business of the meeting, a delicious luncheon was serv ed and a social hniir enjoyed. The pretty residence of Mrs. Kershaw Ker-shaw was tastefully decorated Willi roses and carnations, and the meet- , Inc was one that was as pleasantly spent as any before. Hefore adjournment, it was agreed that the next meeting of the club, the first under the Dewname, would be held with Mrs. Carl Allison, on Friday, Oct. 14th. The joung men of the Baptist church will give a ' social on Friday evening to which a cordial invitation to all is extended. 1 The Past Grands' club will meet with Mrs. C. T. Koons at her home en Giant avenue, Thursday afternoon. The ladies of the W. C. T. I', will meet in Good Templar's hall over the Ogden Music store, 2370 Washington avenue, al 2..10 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. A full attendance Is urged. St. Joseph's Sewing society will meet with Mrs. M. J. Healy at St. Joseph's hall Thursday afternoon. A large number Is expected to be present. |
