The first report on the work of tho woman's night court established In New York a month ago shows that tho number of women arretted during tho month for disorderly conduct was 411. Of tbls number 2C3 were convicted and sentenced. Under the law governing the court, a linger print record of all the women wo-men convicted has been taken Fifty-three Fifty-three of the total number arrested were subjected to medical examination examina-tion and 40 of those were sent to the hospital ward on Blackwells Island to serve out their fteutences. All the suffrage organizations of the city are preparing to fight the medical examination feature of the biw and representative club women will go to Albany this winter to urge , Its repeal. Tho court reports show that three out of every five modlcal examinations become hospital cases.
