Tho funeral of I)uls Chrlstensen an Inmate of the Industrial school waa held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon af-ternoon at Lark Ins' funeral chael, with High Counsellor K. A. Larkln presiding. pre-siding. A musical programme was rendered bv Ralph Abbott, and Orson Giiffcn soloists, and selections by the members mem-bers of the Utah Industrial school. The speakers were Volncy C. Gun-liell. Gun-liell. Dr. 12, G. Cowans. The den I or-b were well attended and the floral offerings was large. A large broken wheel from the pupils and teahcers of Hie Industrial school was a beautiful piece, representing the comrndehhlp und love In which the departed whb held. The male Inmates of the school attended at-tended the services In a body and led the funeral cortege to the Ogden City cemetery, where the Interment was made. Knroute to the burial place, three buglers played Ihe military dirge, and at the grave, the military salute was fired aud "taps" sounded. |
