The floor Is being laid in small marble cubes, polished by hand, the first floor of Its kind in tho state. The walls, three feet up will be In white marble, and the stair tops will be of the same stone. The walls alove the marble will be done In leather with the celling of artistic steel work. The columns supporting the walls of the lobby will be remodelled and a circular seat of leather at tho base of each. The office counter r.nd desk is planned to be built of marble, and the enlarged entrance will have a very inviting appearance, with a largo plate glass vestibule. Already $10,000 ha6 been spent for the remodelling of the Reed office and entrance hall, and this sum does not begin to cover the expense of the Intended In-tended improvements.
