Show SENATORS WHO ARE TO INVESTIGATE LORIMER Chicago Sept. 20 Senators Robert J. Gamble, Republican of Sonth Dakota, Dako-ta, and Thomas H. Pavntor, Demo crat, of Kentucky, members of the senate sub-committee which is to Investigate In-vestigate the election of William Lorlmer to the United States senate, arrived here today. Senators Burrows, Ileyburn and Johnson having registered yesterday, the Arrival of Senators Gamble and Paynter brings the number of the subcommittee present up to live. Senator Frazler, Democrat, of Tennessee, Ten-nessee, Is expected tonight or tomorrow. tomor-row. Senator Burrows, the chairman, received re-ceived word that Senator Bulk ley of Connecticut would not be able to ;:t tend the sessions here. Senator Rulkley was appointed to act for Mr. Dillingham of Vermont, who is 111 It Is possible, however, that the latter may come here after all, in view of Mr. Bulklev'B absence. Today's session, which will be executive ex-ecutive for the purpose of outlining the procedure of the Inquiry, was scheduled to begin at 3 o clock this afternoon. Senator Lorlmer. accompanied by his attorney, Eldrldge Hancey. called on Senator Burrows to ascertain what would be required of him. |
