Show AUOTiON SALE OF PRiZf SHEEP The first day of the auction sales held in conjunction with the International Inter-national Sheep Show, was a decided success. Dwlght Lincoln, an auctioneer auction-eer of llv c stock of national fame had the sales in charge, and during the day, many sales of high class sheep were recorded. Tho Rutterfield Live Stock company com-pany sold a champion Ramlwuillct owe to the F. S. King Rroth-rs firm for a consideration of $2iu, the highest high-est priced animal sold during the day. Oilier sales of fancy sheep were made In single lots and in pens up to thirty head, with the price averaging averag-ing about $25 to ?, apiece. Many sales were made in private the purchasers eld'iitly believlug that they could derive a better bargain lu a personal deal with tho owner. The auction sales win conttuue today, to-day, and aro expected to show greater results in slock bought and sold. Ruy-eis Ruy-eis yesterday were somewhat backward back-ward In entering into the bidding, but tho tales have taken and today bids will bo briskly made and more sales recorded. Sheepmen complain of au unfortunate unfortu-nate year, financially, quoting tho poor prices obtained for cut wool as tbo paramount reason for tho stringency, string-ency, but the high priced sheep oil salo at the fair grounds tempt even tho poorest.
