Primarily Pri-marily If means tho further training of many voices already well cultivated and then there is some money needed j bv the Alumni to promote another object ob-ject which they have in mind It if tho Intention of the association to fit tint tho room In the hih school building to bo used as tho Alumni headquarters and rest rooms. In It all the meetings of tho association will bo hold and receptions will be tendered to gradual ing students. Tho loom will be cosily furnished and well supplied with books n.)t school books. It Is intended that the room bo a sort of oasis in the didactic, desert des-ert of learning and the atmosphere of tho school rooms will not be permitted to pervade its precincts. It is not tho intention of tho association asso-ciation to wait until after the opera before starting work on the now nxim. A committee Is to be appointed at i uce by the president to confer with tho school board relative to tho project, pro-ject, Tho expense of the fitting out of tho room will bo home entirely by the association and If It Is expected that the money made on the opera will be sufficient to furnish the room with a library. At a recent meeting of tho association associa-tion the following officers were elected elect-ed for Uic ensuing year: President, Miss Ivy Williams: vice president. Miss Florence Lannlng. secretary. Miss Alice Rowen; treasurer. Miss May Mo ran. |
