He sta'es that the grade to the smelter site Is about completed, all the track materials ma-terials for the line being on tho ground. By the first of the month this branch line is almost certain to be completed, then can h?ln the moving mov-ing of the heavier supplies to tho smeller site. There Is a lare amount of track material on hand at the railroad yards In Mason, including 15.000 to 20.0"O ties, which will be placed along the line from Mason to the Nevada Dong-las Dong-las property. The task of hurrying this western extension of the Nevada I Copper Belt can be rushed better after af-ter the smelter line Is completed. Mr. Orem says that the railroad force 1 splendidly organized, and Ihe business busi-ness of the company Is growing in a very satisfactory manner, although the best part of the road's Income, that from the transportation to and from the mines and smelter, Is not yet available to the company. |
