Not in yearn had the opcuing day of the supremo court of the I'nited States arrived with barely a quorum of justices ready to go on the bench until today. to-day. The death of Justice Fullor left the court without a permanent head, while the death of Justice Brewer and the Illness of Juatlco .Moody, whose resignation beccnies effective Nov. 30, reduced the active membership to six. ' One noticeable result was the change in the seating arrangement of the Justices. This provides for Justice Jus-tice Harlan, the senior member of the court, to move from the place of h.n-or h.n-or he had occupied tor year. at the light of Justice Fuller, to the chair of the late chief justice himself, in recognition .if hi having ben temporarily tempor-arily the presiding officer of the court.
