Show Last Tuesdav night the members of Utah Camp No. 9990. M. W. of A., after the close of business, which included in-cluded the adoption of five members, gave a smoker, which was very much enjoyed by the members present. The entertainment committee had been busy and discovered a lot of new and very- useful timber, and the program they had for the evening proved to be one of great merit and It was a hard matter to decide which was the best timber. The following are the nmc9 of those who participated: Hairy Hills, on his famous musleharp; W. II. Riges, violin solo: The Camp Quartette, Quar-tette, composed of Elmer Royle. Carl Clark, Hyrum Evans and Lon E Lyman; Ly-man; grnphophone selections, Jos. ningham. and a step dance and rake walk by Lafayette Farley. F. II. Snyder Sny-der presided at the piano and each selection was encored and then some until the performers were worn out. In the future, every meeting night there will be a drawing of a M. Y. A clock, or some other article of equal value, each member will given a i ticket at the door and any member bringing In a card of a new member will receive 5 extra tickets, drawing to take place and lucky man onnounc-' onnounc-' ed later in the session. Come up I neighbors, and see If you are lucky. A dance Is on the cards for some time In the near future, watch f-T the announcement and come out and have a good time; don't be a piker and grow moss on your bnek; wake up and come out to meetings and get acquainted with the new' members, they are coming In right alon?. they are coming In right alon?. We are also getting a large number of transfer cards from members who have ber-n holding their membership elsewhere but living here. Nelehbors. we think It is your duty to transfer to where you are living, for in ease of sickness and dca'h w-e look after you anyway nnd we think it Is no more than right that vou transfer hre and help ns out 'with our due, even though It be a little more than most of you are paying In Eastern ramps, think It over seriously. II Packer hav'ng undergone an operation at the i hospital for appendicitis and Is reported re-ported as getting alon? nicely, and we hope to so-.n have him back at our meetings. Neighbor A. W. Rankin Is ! Tlously 111 at his home, with an at-I at-I tack of Prlght's disease; it stems , that Nelghl-or Rankin has bad more than his share of trouble, having Jut I recovered from the effects of two ' operations.
