Show OWNS WOODMAN CUP; DAVIS' TAX LEVY Kaysvllle. July 24 Tho V. O W. camp of Kaysvllle Is now tho owner of the silver cup which was won in 1900, and which the camp has had to defend every year since. At the Woodman Wood-man outing held at Lagoon recently a team from our lodjr had a tug of war with a team from camp No. o3, of Salt Iake City. The local lineup line-up was Jed McForson. Joseph Flint. John Graham. Thomas Jones, Fred Marston and James Ware. The board of county commission ers has Just fixed the tax levy for county and county school purposes. Tho levy is three and a half mills for county school purposes. I County Road Commissioner r,ennett is grading the Davis county road just south of the Weber county line, where there Is so much sand, and topping with clay, and gravel, ihe gravel pro-dominating. pro-dominating. There Is aboat a mile of road in all that Is being Improved and it is costlug about $100 per day. |
