Show WHERE THERE IS SUNSHINE. Pittsburg has had twelve minutes of STinshine in seven and one-half one-half days and is thankful. Out in the West the intermountain West where the sun shines almost every day in the year, men would get a' fit of the blues, women wom-en grow nervous and children peevish if the sun were to miss for a week. The glorious climate of this intermountain region is one reason why people who locate here cannot become reconciled to the thought of going back to their old homes beyond thc' mountains, in the mid-die mid-die or eastern states. The companionships of former places of residence resi-dence have their charms, but those memories are not sufficiently per-" suasive to induce those who come West to go back to the prairies or thc Atlantic coast, where winter is one prolonged storm p.nd even summer has its overcast skies and dark days. |
