Judge Lewis expects to take up tho case of the City against Carl Sorensou the defenJant being tho hoNier in fee simple of real estate on Twnty fifth street and Hudson avenue, a port of which was used for tho avenue. Mr. Soronson contends that something; over ov-er three feet of his property was used In the opening of the avenue, and that it wns reasonably worth $l.ou0 per front foot He also claims to have boon damaged in other ways. The hearing of this caso will bo the hearing of the second ease of the Hudson avenue controversy. Tho attorney at-torney for tbe city states that thero likely will be not more than two other cases. |
